Fishing is not so much a sport in St. Vincent as a way of life. For the towns on the leeward side, it is still a big slice of their income and their food. Kingstown has a large fish market in the harbor near the dollar bus terminal.
Walking through, you get a good idea of what’s waiting for you out in the ocean. Marlin, barracuda, snapper, sailfish, yellowfin tuna, wahoo and mahi mahi are just some of the varieties.
