In the park, near the bridge to Goethe’s Garden Cottage, is a Shakespeare statue. It was erected in 1904 as the first statue to honor Shakespeare on the European continent. Nearby is the Liszt-Haus. The house is open Tuesday to Sunday from April to October, 10 am to 1 pm and 2 to 6 pm. Closed on Monday and during the winter season.
