The most discerning travelers will appreciate the imposing grand foyer marked by ceiling frescoes, lush velvet couches, fresh floral arrangements and red Verona marble columns from the 1300s. This charming hotel in the historic center was once a 14th-century Scaligeri palazzo called Dell’Aquila. It is by far one of Verona’s finest sleeps, and over the years has hosted many illustrious visitors, including Mozart, Goethe, Wagner, Pavarotti and Sting. The exclusive rooms in this prestigious establishment are richly decorated with period furnishings. Its Ristorante All’Aquila features 18th-century porcelain from Japan and China and a 19th-century bronze statue by Gregolli di Torini.
