Just beyond the old castle’s walls, the Roxy Plaza (open since 1999) offers guests non-smoking, spacious rooms with hardwood floors and modern furnishings. If your budget permits, there are four junior suites entitled “Giulietta e Romeo” with a pretty view of the castle. Guests may use the hotel’s bicycles to explore the town and, upon request, the staff will organize tours of nearby wineries.
