Mariposa B&B (opposite La Fonda Vela Hotel on the road to Monteverde,3 rooms, breakfast included). A young Tico family rents three simple rooms set in a green building up a private driveway along the road to Monteverde. Close to the cloud forest. You get a bathtub (hot water too), queen-size mattress, lamp, a big dresser and breakfast. You may ask for other meals at an additional charge.
