Although this campsite is right on the Seine, the views of the industrial park across the river aren’t exactly ideal. Otherwise, the forest location isn’t bad for nature lovers who want easy access to Paris. It costs Euro 18-Euro 24 to pitch a tent. Mobile home rentals are Euro 62-Euro 76 (sleeps four, some with A/C or TV). There’s a shuttle bus to the nearest métro station (Porte Maillot) from 8:30am to 1am. The gates close from 2am to 6am. Other services include a restaurant and café, shop, game area and billiard table, playground and tourism desk. To get there by car, follow signs throughout Bois de Boulogne toward the Pont de Suresnes. (Look under Camping in the Outside Paris chapter for camping sites in Versailles.
