The best temporary address in Leipzig is the elegant Hotel Fürstenhof. It has just under 100 rooms in a renovated patrician house dating from 1770. It was originally renovated by the luxury Kempinski hotel group in the early 1990s, but has been part of the Sheraton Luxury Collection since 2000. Rooms are very comfortable and stylish with lots of natural light. The spa is large and well-equipped. Restaurant Fürstenhof is one of the best in Leipzig with light international and nouvelle cuisine. The Vinothek has a large selection of Saxon, German, and international wines on offer as well as lighter meals.
