Yangshuo Orientation

Yangshuo Orientation

From the river, West Street (Xi Jie) and Diecui Lu run southwest to meet busy Pantao Lu, with a warren of narrow cobbled lanes between them and the mountains. The bulk of shops, cafés, Internet places, hotels and amenities can be found on or around pedestrianizedWest Street, Chengzhong Lu and Xianqian Jie. The bus station is on Pantao Lu, near the junction with Diecui Lu in the center of town, and boats from Guilin arrive at Yangshuo Quay, located at the eastern end of West Street.

Sightseeing in Yangshuo: Yangshuo Park

Yangshuo’s sights are in the surrounding countryside, but if you don’t want to leave town, Yangshuo Park, across from the bus station, is pleasant for a stroll (or hike if you choose to climb a peak). It’s also a good place to witness, or participate in, morning exercises, ranging from ballroom dancing to tai chi.
