Tucked away at 8,000 feet in beautiful Big Cottonwood Canyon, Solitude's award wining mountain is buried with an annual snowfall of 450 inches of Utah's famous powder. With over 1,200 acres, 63 uncrowded runs and three bowls, Solitude is great for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Location: Solitude is just a short 33 miles from the Salt Lake City International Airport. To get here from downtown or the airport, take I-80 East to I-215 South. Take Exit 6 and follow the signs to Solitude. If you're coming from Park City, join I-80 heading West and connect to I-215 South to Exit 6 and follow the signs from there.
